A slower week in Tokyo
A neighbourhood-led way to see Tokyo without turning every day into a checklist.

Tokyo works best when the itinerary leaves room for discovery. I usually suggest choosing one neighbourhood as the centre of each day, then adding only one fixed reservation.
Begin with a calm base that makes the train journey home simple. Daikanyama, Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, and Kagurazaka each offer a different rhythm while keeping the city within reach.
Keep one afternoon completely open. That unplanned space is often where a small gallery, neighbourhood café, or conversation becomes the part of the trip people remember.
